ICDS Longleng organised an Awareness Camp on Diet-diversity and POSHAN Seminar to mark the month-long celebration of POSHA Maah, beginning from 1st – 30th September 2024, at Hukphang village on 17th September 2024. The event was organised by the Department of Social Welfare, Longleng.

Various activities under POSHAN MAAH and to fight against malnutrition among children, Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women and Lactating Mothers was given by Sr. Supervisor, T. Shahnyu Phom, and Diet diversity in complementary feeding, importance of balanced diet was imparted by Medical Officer, Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) Dr. Angphen O Phom.

Demonstration of complimentary food from locally available fruits and vegetables was also showcased at the event. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Council Chairman Hukphang village, Longcha Phom.
